Interesting Sighting Details:
In a small city, populated by about 4,000, called Bishopville in South Carolina, USA, exists the Scape Ore Swamp. Many accounts of the residents and locals tell of a reptile-like creature that lived in the swamp. Some call it the Lizard Man of Lee County or the Lizard Man of Scape Ore Swamp. In other stories, they refer to the creature as the Scape Ore monster, which has frightened many visitors to the area, and has even damaged some vehicles.

The Scape Ore monster is described as a seven-foot tall creature, covered in green scales, with large and glowing red eyes. Like the stories of Bigfoot and the sasquatch, the Scape Ore monster was bipedal, walking upright on both legs. But unlike the mentioned creatures, the Scape Ore monster had no hairy body covering, and it had three digits with sharp black claws on each of its hands and feet.

According to sources, the first report of a sighting of the Scape Ore monster was in 1988, from a teenager named Christopher Davis. The young man told his story which happened late one night as he was driving along the area of the Scape Ore Swamp. Davis had a flat tire, and as he was changing it, the monster attacked him, but he was able to drive away and escape. His description was that of a man with green scaly skin and long fingers and claws that jumped on his car roof.

There have been many attempts to try to explain the Scape Ore monster. Connected with the Scape Ore monster are accounts of researchers who believe in the existence of reptilian humanoids, or humans bearing the features and structures of reptiles. Reptilian humanoids have been noted in myths and legends from many cultures, such as India, China, the Middle East, and Europe. There were even writers that claim that reptilian humanoids may perhaps be the key to finding and proving the existence of extra-terrestrial life.

In relation to the Scape Ore Swamp monster, there have been accounts of human-resembling monsters in other states of the country. In the Honey Island Swamp in Louisiana, a seven-foot tall monster with gray hair was reported in the 1970’s. In Mississippi and Missouri, a river monster they named Momo has been sighted in many areas, also in the 1970’s, and was described to be like Bigfoot. During this decade, the Fouke monster was claimed to have been spotted in Fouke, Arkansas, where it attacked a local family. The Fouke monster is also a large ape-like creature, covered in thick hair.

Webmasters Comments About This Case:
This creature has the glowing red eyes that so many other cryptids have, this is not a natural physical trait of any being, it is as if the eyes are lighted by a source of energy or some other force.
