Interesting Sighting Details:
During the 1976 Easter weekend, the two young
women, saw a 'huge great thing with feathers, like
a big man with flapping wings', hovering over the
church tower at Mawnan. The woman were so
frightened that their family holiday was cut short
by three days.
In another sighting, two people saw it standing in
a large tree, near the Mawnan church. At first the
witnesses thought someone was playing a trick on
them by being dressed in a costume. But as they
observed the creature, it flew up into the air, and
away from the area. After it flew away, there was
a crackling or static noise heard in the trees for
some time.
Webmasters Comments About This Case:
The owlman is close to what has been sighted and
named the 'mothman' here in the USA. And the
otherworldly events of both areas also are similar.
In the same area where the owlman has been
sighted and near the Mawnan church, there have
been numerous supernatural or weird events, just
a few sightings and events are as follows.
In a 1996 sighting a woman reported seeing a strange
glob of glowing light floating over the church. She
watched as the light faded away, only to be replaced
by another one a short distance away. The color of the
lights was orange-red.
In 2003 two teenage girls were out after midnight
driving in a vehicle, when they wanted to listen to some
music. They wanted to have the music playing loudly, so
not wanting to disturb local neighbors, they drove to the
Mawnan church which is isolated and empty at night.
After they were at the church for a few minutes the girls
observed a glowing or pulsating blog of colored light
hovering over the church, after awhile it vanished and the
girls returned home.
From the time of the first owlman sightings to present, the
area has also had numerous UFO sightings, strange and
numerous incidents of animals attacks, even wild bird attacks.
I believe we will see more of these creatures and even more
blazen attacks and reports from around the planet as the time
goes by. We must remember these spirtual creatures (demons)
have been free to basicaly cause havoc and run amock for
maybe thousands of years. Now as the return of Christ is upon
nearing, their free reign is almost over.
When Satan (lucifer) rebelled against God, him and his angels
(demons) were banished from the 3rd heavens where according
to the bible is where God and the saints dwell.
They were confined to the 2nd heaven (the areas of the planets)
and beyond, and the 1st heavens, the earth and the upper
atmosphere. When Christ returns to remove his belivers at the
rapture, they will be confined to the 1st heaven, the earth and it's
upper atmosphere.
In the Bible in Revelation 12:12, we are told about this time
period; 'Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in
them! But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has
gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that
his time is short.
There will only be 7 years left for these beings, before they are
cast into hell, where they can cause havoc and trouble no more.
And during this 7 year period they will be un-restrained, that is
one reason this time period is called the 'tribulation' it will be
horrible. These creatures and of course satan, knows the signs like
a bible beliver also does, and they are getting scared since they know
their end is almost here, that is why they are starting to get more
blazen.
