Loch Ness Monster - Nessie

Location of Sightings:
Loch Ness - Scotland

Earliest - Latest Reported Sighting:
565 AD to present

Description:
This creature has been sighted by numerous witnesses since the 1884 sighting. It is always noted as looking like a cross between a plesiosaur, a creature from the age of the dinosaurs, and a serpent.

Odors described during or right after encounters with this creature:
None reported

Sounds - Speech:
None reported

Interesting Sighting Details:
In an 1885 sighting, it was described as being a large, creature with a head and mane like a horse. The creatures head, looking like the head of a horse, is also what observers have said of 'Champ' sighted in Lake Champlain, in California.

In a 1930 sighting, 3 men who were in a boat fishing, reported seeing a disturbance in the water. The men watched as a creature 20 feet long approached their boat splashing water in the air. As it passed them, the creatures waves caused their boat to rock violently

There have been at least 4 sightings since 2004

Webmasters Comments About This Case:
Loch Ness is certanily a great place for monsters to hide and live, it is the largest of three lochs located in what is called the Great Glen which divides the North of Scotland along a line from Fort William to Inverness. Loch Ness is 23 miles long and a mile in width, and averages 600ft in depth.

Nessie is just one of many lake monsters sighted around the world for centuries. No matter even if the lakes have been drained the creatures are seen again after they are filled by rain, or human mean. These creatures remain elusive, though sometimes they allow us to capture them on film. The lake creatures usualy show themselves as being a dinosaur like creature (plesiosaur), the chances of a real dinosaur species being alive and non having one found dead or caught in a fishermans net, etc, is not possible. This leaves only one possible explanation, if these creatures are truly being sighted, they can be none other than spirtual or supernatural beings.
